Former President of Tau Sigma National Honor Society

At Florida International University (FIU)

Tau Sigma National Honor society is an honor society for transfer student. Our mission is " to promote and recognize excellence of transfer students."It is an invitation based organization. After one's first semester as a full time transfer student, if you earn a GPA of 3.5 or higher, you will receive an invitation from Tau Sigma. 
When I received my invitation, I gladly accepted it  not knowing what the future would hold for me. A year after my induction ceremony into the Phi Chapter of Tau Sigma at FIU, I was elected as President.
As the President, my main duties were to represent the chapter in a professional manner, lead our organization and oversee all other position in our Executive Board. Alongside the E-board, I lead two Induction Ceremonies on September 23, 2018 and January 27, 2019. 
I also represented our chapter at different events including the Tau Sigma's annual Conference at Hard Work Hotel in Orlando in the Fall of 2018 with our Vice President and Social Media Chair.
