Alternative Break Participant

Winter break 2018 

For the first time Tau Sigma National Honor Society participated in Alternative Breaks. We partnered with Clean the World. Clean the World is a nonprofit organization which collects toiletries and recycle them. 
For the longest, I thought soap was just something I used to clean myself. I never gave too much thought about a bar soap. While serving in Nevada, I learned about the millions of People that do not have a bar soap. It broke my heart for all the time I thought a bar soap was too small for me to continue to use. This experience opened my eyes in so many aspects. The most crucial ones are: recycling and using my bar soap until it is actually done.
