Master's in Business AdministrationÂ

Bachelor of Science in Biology and Interdisciplinary Studies
Minor in International Communication
I was born and raised in Port-de-Paix, Haiti. I graduated from high school in Haiti in 2012. After graduation, I moved to reside permanently in Miami Florida the same year. When I got to the United States, I did not speak English, not being able to communicate was my biggest obstacle as a teenage girl. In January 2013, I started to take English courses at Miami Dade College to enable me to communicate properly. I was so eager to learn the language that I was approved to do an accelerated program and finish the two years English program in one year instead. The following year, I started with my regular College classes; although my English still wasn’t perfect. I did not stop to thrive for greatness. In April 2016, I earned my Associate in Arts Degree at Miami Dade College. I did not stop there; in August 2016, I transferred to Florida International University to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology while taking the pre-medical pathway with a minor in International communication. I speak four languages (Creole, French, English, and Spanish). I am the current GROW Internship Coordinator for GlobeMed which is an organization that focuses on Global Issues. I am the former president of Tau Sigma National Honor Society, an honor society for transfer students, and I aspire to become a physician in the near future. In April 2019, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences and Interdisciplinary Studies and a Minor in International Communication. In December 2020, I earned a Master in Business Administration in Healthcare Management. Please visit the other tabs to learn more about my time at FIU.
